Last prearrangements are to do, but de day of departure is getting closer. From the 9th of February, this blog will accompany the mapping project on Ascension Island, South Atlantic.

We hope to show you nice pictures and interesting reports from this little rock in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

We are two students of geology from Bonn, Germany and will map this island in terms of volcanology. So await pictures from rocks and volcanoes, but also from beaches and turtles
