Who are we and what do we do on this island?

We are Sebastian Bernhardt and Kirsten Pedroza, both students of Geology at the University of Bonn, Germany.

We will head to the island to take samples of rock and to map it in terms of volcanology for finishing our studies. At the end of this project we will reach our MSc.

We both like to study Petrology in detail, especially volcanoes. Our main topics of interest are the forces which drives the volcano to erupt, the source of magma and the risk, volcanoes may have to the local population.

We hope to be able to update this page regulary, but it is not sure yet, that we will get access to the internet from the island.
